Terraces and garden
Le Couvent's large and very private garden is tiered
in three levels. The back of the house is built into the land so
that the back door upstairs, originally the entrance to the school
room, leads out into a higher level of the garden which overlooks
the village. The higher woodland part of the garden leads to a natural
'source' where water trickles through the rocks into a small man-made
pool (for flora and fauna, not people!).
